OUR EXPERTISE

Maximum Control
Minimum Cost.

With increasing gas prices and stronger environmental regulations, the need for our Accu-Set Gas Blanket Controller is a must. If you have storage tanks with a sealed vapor system, consider using an Accu-Set Gas Blanket Control system to minimize your operating cost and maximize your safety factor.

Save costs by switching your old and out of control systems to Prism. Old, misapplied, jimmy rigged gas blanket regulators may be dumping your profit through the tank and out to the flare stack to be burnt. Many systems running today are dumping thousands of dollars’ worth of blanket gas right through the system and out to the stacks. Those systems can be evaluated by a trained Prism service person, who will give a written proposal and cost to upgrade your systems to eliminate the profit drain.

We stand by quality and reliability in our products. That is why our vents are individually hand calibrated at our factory. Each vent will receive a certification sheet showing the exact set point of the pressure valve, as well as the leak rate for the valve.

Why Gas Blanket Controllers?

The Accu-Set Controller is a large diameter, Teflon, high accuracy diaphragm that reacts to tank pressure at very minimal pressures such as 1/4″ water column. This high accuracy dependable Teflon diaphragm and micro valve operate in changing temperatures with consistent repeatability.

The Accu-Set Controller allows users to reduce tank pressures to a minimum to reduce a potential gas release. The lower the tank pressure the less likely are fugitive emissions. The Accu-Set assures that the tanks positive pressure is maintained at 1/4″ water column and does not allow air to enter the tank. Air inflow into the tanks creates accelerated corrosion and deterioration to tanks and piping systems, as well as the potential for explosions in flare vapor recovery lines.

Prism Gas Blanket Controller

Patented technology for Accuracy & Repeatability.

Prism has more solutions to your vapor recovery and containment needs than any other manufacturer. We will guarantee and stand behind our systems, either single product or complete flare stack control systems. Get your storage systems under control and start saving money at the same time; choose the Prism Accu-Set Gas Blanket Controller.

Accu-Set Gas Blanket Control :

Blanket Gas Saver, Dead Weight Setting for Accuracy and Repeatability
As tank pressure falls, the Accu-Set turns on the actuator’s supply gas.
The Actuator opens, allowing the blanket gas to flow into the tank to stabilize the tank pressure.
Tank pressure reaches the desired level, and the Accu-Set shuts off the actuator’s supply gas.
The Actuator closes, shutting off the blanket gas.

Accu-Set Features:

No fouling or contamination problems due to our diaphragm design
No header pressure fluctuation
No spring pressure variations
No friction changes due to cold weather
No freeze-ups in cold weather
Built of stainless steel and Teflon for long life and dependability
